“Family Documents, Book & Artifact Preservation” April 16 6:30pm
The Riverton Museum staff will host this Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speaker Series program April 16th at 6:30pm. Occasionally, in the Museum world, we get questions from people who have old family documents and books, and they want to know how to best take care of them.
In this workshop Riverton Museum Staff and Volunteers will help you know how to best care for those precious documents. We’ll learn all about the chemical processes and conditions that cause deterioration. Then, we will learn how to create good storage conditions for these documents, as well as basic conservation and repairs. Bring your documents and learn to take care of them with us!
This event starts at 6:30 PM and is free and open to the public, but supplies are limited.
