    Name: “Black Bridge Adventure Trek”
    Date: June 20, 2020
    Time: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM MDT
    Event Description:
“Black Bridge Adventure Trek” June 20 9am

It’s officially the first day of Summer in the Northern Hemisphere, and we’ll be kicking it off right! Join us on our first Wind River Visitor’s Council sponsored Adventure Trek Series event of 2020!

Bring your bike, because for this trek, we’ll be biking from the Museum, north on the Rails to Trails the roughly 6.5 miles to Black Bridge. Once we get there, and all along the way, we’ll be talking about the history of the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad, and especially about the history of its bridges on both sides of Riverton. Then, we’ll bike back to town!

Make sure to bring water and a snack. This trek will take the better part of the morning. Remember, this trek will require biking nearly 13 total miles. We will follow a moderate pace and invite anybody comfortable with this level of exercise to participate.

We’ll leave from the Museum at 9:00 AM, and the cost is free!
